Buñuelos are a fried flour tortilla covered in cinnamon and sugar usually made around Christmas time. Crispy and sweet.

4Cups Flour | |
1Tbs Salt | |
1 1/2 Tbs Baking powder | |
1/2Cup Shortening | |
2Cups Water | |
Oil for frying |
Directions

Add oil to a large pan and heat to med- high or high. The oil is ready when you drop a crumb in the oil and it bubbles.
Meanwhile, add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix with your hands. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour. If the dough is too tough, add more water. Make 20 balls. Roll them out, deep fry until golden brown. Take sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle them after about a minute or two.
