Tortillas
super easy
Flour tortillas warm off the skillet with butter are the best! They are easy to assemble but rolling out perfect circles is not. Well, at least it isn’t for me :). They taste so much better homemade so give it a shot and if they aren’t round and look more like the 50 states… who cares.

Tortilla assembly and cooking
Before making your tortillas get a large pan ready on the burner at medium high.
Mix dry ingredients with fingers
then add the oil and work it in with your hands smashing the oil between your fingers to work it into the flour.
Once worked in start adding water and mixing the dough until it forms a large ball.
Then knead it.
When nice and soft start making balls and set them aside for about 5 minutes. Take each ball and roll out thin. Place the tortilla on the pan being careful not to burn yourself. You can use a spatula to flip the tortilla or your fingers. The tortilla is done when you don't see any raw dough on either side.
